Am I the A-hole for wanting my friends to sometimes help me with problems?

My roommates and I have been living together for about six months. We've made a pretty good agreement where we each take turns doing the laundry, but lately, it feels like I'm always the one handling the work. Last week, my friend totally forgot to do their share. I got really upset because they just didn't even notice. I told them that it was rude, and they got defensive. Now, they're saying I'm making a big deal out of nothing. Am I really the asshole here?
